This presentation simplifies drip titration and hemodynamics with endpoints such as stroke volume. Indirect indicators such as urine output and BP can be misleading. Vasoactive drips are discussed via case studies. A best-evidence focus on blood flow rather than pressures is used, along with assessing patient response, trending and early signs. Drip titration for conditions such as hypotension and heart failure show patients do not decompensate suddenly; we only tend to recognize it suddenly.

Explain fundamental hemodynamic monitoring parameters for drug titration.
Discuss pharmacology of vasoactive core IV drips with optimization strategies, focusing on early signs and value trending.
Review case studies which illustrate key points in treatment of hypotension, heart failure and sepsis.
